New limited edition Transit SportVan

Ford had a huge amount of success with the original limited edition Transit SportVan. There were no suprises after all, it is the only Van on the market at the moment that non-commercial drivers are not embarrassed to drive around it. It looks cool and is actually nice to drive. Ford has decided to introduce a new one, but this one is white.

It will be built on the foundations of the current front-wheel drive short-wheelbase Transit 260. This means it will use a 138bhp 2.2 litre turbo diesel engine, used in conjunction with a six speed manual gearbox. It does give of a Le Mans style impressions thanks to the blue stripes that have been installed on the bonnet.

Luckily for buyers, they are spoilt with mod cons. It will come with 18” alloy wheels, spoilers, extended wheel arches and a tidy twin exhaust.

If all this sounds like something of interest, then get in fast. Ford managed to produce and sell 1,000 of the old and blue SportVan, but this one won’t be such a regular occurrence on UK roads. Just 80 examples of the new SportVan will be produced!
